John Stavridis obtained his diploma in Mechanical & Aeronautical engineering at the University of Patras in 2016 and the year after obtained another master’s degree in design & Production at the University of Patras. At the same time worked as research engineer in the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Processes at University of Patras until 2017 following and managing research projects on Additive Manufacturing and laser processes. In 2018 he started working as application engineer in Prima Additive and from 2020 he is the applications manager for Powder Bed Fusion and Directed Energy Deposition technologies following various customers in critical industrial sectors such as aerospace, automotive, oil & gas and medical. Finally, in November 2022 obtained also his PhD degree on Design for AM and industrialization.
